About

Healing begins when feeling truly understood.

Kendyl Brunet, owner of Brunet Therapy and Wellness, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 15 years of clinical experience providing evidence-based, client-centered therapy. Based in New Orleans, her practice focuses on supporting adults and families through life transitions, with a specialization in perinatal mental health, infant mental health, and trauma-informed support. Kendyl has advanced training in working with individuals during pregnancy, postpartum, and beyond and extensive experience in trauma-informed care. She offers support for a range of emotional and psychological challenges, including anxiety, depression, birth trauma, and NICU experiences. In addition to individual therapy, Kendyl works closely with new parents to navigate stress, identity shifts, and behavioral challenges that can arise in early childhood. Her approach is grounded in empathy, attachment theory, and developmental science—helping clients feel seen, supported, and empowered in their journey toward healing and connection.
